Graduate in Galician Philology. Postgraduate and Master in Local Administration (USC). Technician of the Service of Linguistic Normalisation of the Council of da Estrada, he directed the Departments of Culture, Linguistic Normalisation, Emigration and Youth of this municipality and also carried out activities of socio-cultural dynamisation.
He was the technical coordinator of the Rede de Dinamización Lingüística (Linguistic Dynamisation Network), collaborating in its design and implementation.
He collaborated in the elaboration of the Xeral Plan for Linguistic Normalisation of the Xunta de Galicia (Consellería de Cultura, Educación e Universidades), directing this department, which regulates the linguistic policy of Galician within Galicia and abroad
